Top Future-Fairs 2020

Trade fairs are out? Marketing is only effective online anyway? Wrong thought. Trade fairs should definitely be part of the marketing mix, as the latest study by AUMA Messe Trend 2019 shows. 83 percent of the 500 companies surveyed clearly say: Yes, trade fairs are still highly relevant in strategic marketing planning. And the forecast for the next five years also promises good times for the organisers: For 74 percent of German exhibiting companies, the trade fair will continue to play a very important role in the marketing mix in the future or even gain in importance.

As with every visit to a trade fair, however, benefits and costs must also be compared, because it must be worth it. This profitability depends on various factors such as the industry, the target group and the concrete goal set for participation in the event. However, anyone who wants to continue to engage in dialogue in the future cannot ignore the issues of changed lifestyles, sustainability, the environment and social responsibility with regard to our future. In the meantime, there is a wide range of events on offer, but this does not make it easy to choose. This is why the 10 Top Future Fairs 2020 are listed here.

Tendence - Impulses for the consumer sector (4-6 July, Frankfurt)(This is about the consumer world, paired with the question of which trends will be successful here and how sustainability must be shaped in this context? How will consumer behaviour change and how will the industry have to adapt to continue to meet these needs? In lectures, workshops and marketplaces that have been set up, people can be amazed and tackle the issue themselves.

Fair Friends - Sustainability Fair (28-30 August, Dortmund) Germany's largest sustainability fair. It offers a wide range of products and services to enable fair, social and sustainable living and working. Here you can shop, order, inform yourself and be inspired. Workshops, campaigns and days for schools offer plenty of space for interaction.

Caravan Salon - Travelling by Motorhome (28 August - 06 September, Düsseldorf) The world of travel has also changed: the trend is towards individual travel by caravan, car or VW bus and away from air travel. The awareness of one's own CO2 footprint, as well as the striving for flexibility, allow spontaneous short breaks to move more into focus and push travel by plane to the edge. In addition to interesting lectures and films, you can also enjoy a short holiday with other caravan fans.

EUROBIKE  - Bicycle trade fair (2-5 September, Friedrichshafen)

Europe is on the verge of a traffic turnaround and the bicycle is playing an increasingly important role when it comes to sustainable mobility. EUROBIKE will therefore show everything that is already possible today and that will move us tomorrow. The EUROBIKE Award, one of the most prestigious prizes in the industry, will also be presented there next year.

InnoTrans  - everything around the train (September 22-25, Berlin) InnoTrans also deals with the topic of locomotion. With a focus on Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, this trade fair serves an industry that plays a decisive role in sustainability.  Another unique selling point here is the track and open-air grounds. From tank wagons to high-speed trains, there is something for everyone on 3,500 linear metres of rails.

WindEnergy Hamburg  - Wind Industry (22-25 September, Hamburg)

This global meeting of the wind industry brings together leading industry representatives, young innovative companies and industry leaders. With great potential for innovation, this international marketplace, as its name suggests, is probably the largest alternative energy source: Wind.

REHACARE  - Care for the Elderly (23-26 September, Düsseldorf)

To steer society towards a sustainable future, we all need to be involved, both sick and elderly. After all, care must also be developed further and not just allowed to happen. REHACARE shows the possibilities in the form of lectures and interactive formats.

Intermot  - Motorcycle Fair (07-11 October, Cologne)  At first glance, the Intermot looks less green than oil-covered. But it also deals with the subject of mobility and changes in locomotion: away from the car towards smaller individual transport and e-motion. Especially with regard to e-scooters, this conference will play a stimulating role and the topic of connectivity will also be addressed. In addition, the pure experience of the visitors will not be neglected and the road machines and products can be tried out and tested.
eMove360°  - Mobility 4.0 (October 15-17, Munich)

The internationally leading trade fair for mobility 4.0.: Electronic, networked and autonomous driving will change the way we travel and this fair will show what this change will look like and how it feels. Here, too, prototypes will be brought to life and complemented by exciting keynote lectures on the current state of the art.
Orgatec - future working worlds (27-31 October, Cologne) In addition to our private lives, our working environment is also changing. The change in values and also the increasing interlocking of the private and professional, by Homeoffice & Co, raise new demands on the way, as well as the equipment, of our work. At Orgatec, cultural change will be brought to life and demonstrated what modern working environments (must) have in store for us.
